EU Governance and Public Diplomacy – focus on Latin and North America, Africa and Asia

Study course aims to provide students with the knowledge and practical analysis experience in the field of European Union (EU) public diplomacy. In order to achieve this goal, students are introduced to the EU and world history of public diplomacy, paying specific attention to the changing role and identity of the EU on the international arena. Students learn about key EU public diplomacy mechanisms, analysing their efficiency from both theoretical and practical perspectives, while training to distinguish, evaluate and contribute to EU public diplomacy strategies designed and directed towards the EU's relations with countries of Latin and North America, Africa and Asia. 

Individual assignments in form of essays, as well as seminar discussions, group works and presentations compose the practical part of the course.
