Dr.sc.ing. Elina Dace is a post-doc researcher at the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology, University of Latvia. She has expertise related to the assessment of various policy strategies by applying engineering and mathematical modelling approaches. She has built models for agriculture, waste management, and forestry sectors to assess policy measures and strategies. E.Dace is a co-author of 30 scientific articles, indexed in the SCOPUS database, related to the application of system dynamics, life cycle assessment (LCA), multi-criteria analysis (MCA), and other modelling techniques to develop models and decision support tools for system analysis, sustainability assessment, and testing scenarios of climate policy. Find out more about her research:

In the seminar, E.Dace will share her experience and demonstrate several application cases.
