The 9th International Conference on Luminescent Detectors and Transformers of Ionizing Radiation, LUMDETR 2015, will be held at the Dorpat conference centre in Tartu, Estonia on September 20–25, 2015. The conference will be organized by the Institute of Physics, University of Tartu.

The “LUMDETR 2015” belongs to the conference series started by the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia in 1991, and continued in Estonia (Tallinn, 1994), Poland (Ustron, 1997), Latvia (Riga, 2000), Czech Republic (Prague, 2003), Ukraine (Lviv, 2006), Poland (Krakow, 2009) and Germany (Halle (Saale), 2012). The conference will provide an overview of the latest achievements in the basic and applied research in the field of luminescence; the processes of energy transfer, storage and transformation of ionizing radiation in solids; the physics and chemistry of luminescent phosphors, dosimetric and scintillation materials as well as all related applications.
