Management of EU Funded Programmes and Projects for External Cooperation with Eastern Neighbours

The aim of this course is to provide students with both theoretic insight and practical skills in management of EU funded programmes and projects for cooperation with Eastern neighbours. In order to achieve this goal the students will be expected to obtain knowledge on the main principles of management of EU financial assistance and will be led through all the stages of EU project management – starting with EU project planning and drafting project application, till conformity checks and evaluation of results. In the frame of this course the project problems will be identified, project application elaborated and presented (project proposal and implementation plan) to the group by each student. Thus practical exercises are planned as important part of the course programme.
