The meeting is starting

The meeting of the CA15114 (http://www.cost.eu/COST_Actions/ca/CA15114, 19.04.2016.-18.04.2020., 29 countries) was organized in Heerlen, the Netherlands, November 16-18, 2016, and was hosted at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences.

A White paper session was organized for each of the four AmiCI Work Groups (WG). The topics were discussed in small groups with 4 shifts for each WG:
  1. Antimicrobial Coatings – Safe by Design. Key note: Prof. Dr. Joanna Verran, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Manchester Metropolitan University (UK).
  2. Performance Assessment of Antimicrobial Coatings. Lab-field-benchmark. Key note: Dr. Peter D. Askew – IMSL (UK).
  3. Adverse Effects of Antimicrobial Coatings. Key note: Dr. Anne Kahru, Lab. of Environ. Toxicology of National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics (Estonia).
  4. New Cleaning. Key note: Dr. Jim Gray, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, NHS Trust a.o. (UK).
The next meeting will be held in June, 2017.
