Biotechnological conference in Minsk

International conference „Microbial biotechnologies: fundamentals and application” took place on 5-9 May, 2017 in Minsk at Institute of Microbiology, National Academy of Science of Republic Belarus. It joined about 150 researchers from Belarus, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaidjan, Kazakhstan and Latvia.

Prof. Alexander Rapoport participated in this conference as the member of organizing committee and invited speaker. During this conference there was a lot of discussions with the leaders of Belarus science and representatives of industry on the possibilities of further development of research cooperation in microbiology and biotechnology between Latvia and Belarus. Similar discussions were held also with Russian, Kazakhstan and Azerbaidjan researchers.
