BBSED 2008 conference description

The aim of the Conference is to bring together academic and other specialists in business and economic development areas to share experience and facilitate knowledge.  It provides an opportunity to discuss and assess socio-economic development and business environment in the Baltic Sea Region with special reference to SMEs  and enables participants to disseminate knowledge about socio-economic conditions for regional and business activities as well as solutions applied in that scope in different economies.

The Conference is a forum for further international cooperation in economic and business education; participants will be able to find national and international contacts that promote future joint projects and research.

The event is organised by the University of Latvia, Centre for European and Transition Studies and Wismar Business School, Germany, with the support of the Deutsche Bundesbank.
