Management Comity Meeting and Workshop in Split in September of this year were the main issue of the meeting. Activities for “International day of standards” were discussed as well.
For many visitors this has been their first trip to Latvia and the weather was very supportive to explore Riga.

Since 1993 we are at the University of Latvia.
Our history counts many research directions including soil microbiology, setting up a lysine factory, application of microorganisms for ecological tasks, production of valuable substances from waste, cell physiology, food biotechnology, medical applications, systems biology, mathematical modeling and other approaches.
We are open for new challenges!
