Aims of the Doctoral School

Doctoral school shall put into practice a co-ordinated operation of Physics and Mathematics PhD study programmes to implement MSc and PhD degree programmes.  The school encompasses 5 structural units of University of Latvia, Riga Technical University and Daugavpils University.

To ensure the operation of the Doctoral school, during the study year two board meetings are planned.  The innovative aspects of the school lie in the approach of interdisciplinary seminars and teleconferences.
