Purpose of the Doctoral school is to improve research quality in University of Latvia by organizing interdisciplinary research, involving new scientists and improving collaboration within University’s structural units and local and foreign Universities and experts.
Main research areas of the Doctoral school:
- International competitiveness of Latvia and it’s macroeconomic analysis;
- Short and long term export development;
- Long term economic development factors of Latvia;
- Social policy and international competitiveness of Latvia;
- Innovation process management in Latvia;
- Social aspects of marketing in export development;
- Legal base in economical policy of Latvia;
- Information technology and competitiveness of Latvia.
