The aim of the course is to provide understanding to participants about essence financial analysis, its role and options in evaluation of financial state of enterprise and business transactions. The course is designed for students who want to learn the basics of Latvian folk dances, for those who have not got any previous experience in dancing or for those who have little experience. Course abstract:
The aim of the course “French” (for levels from 1 to 4) is to allow the students to acquire a sufficient level of French to communicate in ordinary situations of social and professional life. This set of these courses represents about 200 hours of teaching and corresponds to a half of the „Independent Speaker” level (“Treshold”) established by Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The goal of the course „French 1” is to provide the conversational French language skills for everyday and concrete professional situations, by acquiring reading and writing skills (learning pronunciation rules and the basics of the grammar) and by developing listening and speaking skills (understanding the lecturer and audio records, introducing him/herself and others, asking and answering simple questions). The various teaching methods that are used during the classes ensuring the perfection of the language skills.

Course abstract:
The course goal is to form and to develop the basic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in French which are necessary for communication in everyday situations as well as in professional context. The course provides basic knowledge in phonetics, the vocabulary and grammar elements that are essential for primary communication focusing on the learners communicative competence (linguistic, socio-cultural and learning competence). All the class activities are based on practical real life situations so that the students can become active participants in learning process. All the lessons have joint approach: 1) reading/listening of the document (text, dialogue), 2) verification of understanding, 3) memorization, 4) communication, 5) consolidation of knowledge. This course corresponds to beginner level (A1 - „Breakthrough”) of the Common European framework for language learning.
