Course abstract:
The goal of this course is to provide students with opportunity to gain knowledge about Adaptive Behavior Assessment System - Second Edition and Learning Achievement Test - Second Edition, as well as to help them develop skills in using these methods for psychological assessment, to analyze and interpret the gathered information and to prepare an assessment report. The course will focus on the use of the tests in relation to the child’s age and the clinical assessment goals, and also there will be discussion of ethical principals in relation to the assessment process.

Course abstract:
The aim of the course is to deepen the participants’ knowledge about the normative regulation related to the assessment of the teacher’s professional activity, the ways and content of assessing the teacher’s professional competence, and to deepen the participants’ understanding about the content of teacher’s professional competence and possibilities of its promotion. During the practical classes the participants share their professional experience in the field of assessment, discuss the normative regulation related to the assessment of the teacher’s professional activity, model the content of the assessment process and its organization evaluating the benefits and risks.

Course abstract:
The aim of the course is to improve the teachers’ professional competence in the basic issues of organizing education, teaching and learning, education and psychology. The course puts special emphasis on the pedagogical activities related to the progress of modern scientific thought, the contemporary concrete and abstract world, the systemic organization of consciousness, the specific informative character of human mental behavior, the evaluative thinking (acquisition, processing and application of information). The acquisition of the life skills serves as the main motive for the development of pedagogy. Within this course the participants will be able to improve their knowledge on the mutual interconnection between learning and teaching in the pedagogical process and skills in working out the syllabi and curricula. The participants will master the basic principles of pedagogical psychology, interaction and intercultural communication and will understand their role in the pedagogical work and the child’s development.
