Baltic Journal of English Language, Literature and Culture

T​he Baltic Journal of English Language, Literature and Culture (BJELLC) is a multidisciplinary international scholarly journal, which is published once a year since 2011 by the the University of Latvia. 

The BJELLC aims to help scholars doing research in applied linguistics, literature and culture to share their knowledge worldwide. Although the journal is particularly interested in publishing research carried out in the Baltic States, manuscripts from other countries are also welcome.

The journal accepts papers of theoretical and empirical studies on the following areas, but not limited to:        

  • Discourse analysis and pragmatics
  • Lexicology and terminology
  • Stylistics
  • Language acquisition
  • Psycholinguistics

  • Translation and contrastive studies
