Course annotation The aim of this course is to develop the students’ speaking skills, enabling them to talk fluently about the learned topics in Levantine Arabic. The students continue to acquire grammar and develop their listening and writing skills. The students learn to recognize words in Levantine Arabic in messages and the Internet in both Arabic and Latin writing systems.

Results After completion of the course, the student should be able to:
1) understand fluently spoken dialogues in Levantine Arabic and explain the main idea;
2) form dialogues in Levantine Arabic (about learned topics);
3) pronounce correctly the vowels and consonants of Levantine Arabic, speaking fluently;
4) use adjectives appropriately with nouns in a sentence;
5) form comparative and superlative forms of adjectives in Levantine Arabic;
6) use adverbs in a sentence in Levantine Arabic;
7) use the learned prepositions correctly in Levantine Arabic;
8) recognize words in Levantine Arabic in messages and the Internet in both Arabic and Latin writing systems.
