Course annotation This course is the first level of intermediate Japanese and is divided into two categories: grammar and communication. (Once a week for grammar class, and twice a week for communication class.) . We focus on developing speaking and listening skills in this course. The aim of this course is to develop the ability to communicate in various situations encountered in daily college life in Japan.

Results By the end of this semester, students will be able to connect phrases in a simple way in order to describe experiences, events and dreams. They will also be able to make simple presentations in Japanese using PowerPoint slides. The target level is A2/B1 in accordance with Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
