E-courses Valo1324: Japanese Characters I
Course annotation In this course, students will be introduced to two Japanese phonetical alphabets and 86 characters. In order to build strong knowledge of newly learned characters, attention will also be paid to the development of reading and writting skills. For this purpose students will read various simple texts such as postcards, letters, diaries, posters. Students will also pracise writing on topics related to the reading materials.

Results By the end of the course, students
1)will know two phonetical Japanese alphabets and will be able to recognize 86 charcters,
2) will be able to express themselves in writing about familiar topics using simple sentences.
The target level is A1 of CEFR (Common European Framework of reference for Languages).
