E-courses SDSK3005: Introduction to Asian Religions II
Course annotation Students are introduced to current religious situation in East, South and Southeast Asia as well as Middle East. The course offers supplementary information to course one where the history of the research was reflected and introduction to the greatest world religions located in Asia was given. The aim of the current course is to reflect on complex problems emerging on the verge of different religious traditions in the contemporary globalizing Asia.
Results Students learn academic text reading and acquire analysis skills, conceptual thinking. During the course students learn to formulate their own views using the given religious and ethnological concepts.
