|Course annotation||The course is giving knowledge concerning religions of Asia, the main landmarks of the research history; the recent problems of the scholarly research and the practical impact of the research results. The goals of the course are: 1) Introduction into Asian religions and research; 2) increase the knowledge of the diversity of research methods; 3) To get information concerning main research methods and traditions; 4)To get information about the greatest religious organizations and their links with the social processes of the related countries.
|Results||Students get insight about Asian religions, main landmarks of the research history; Religious geography, contemporary research directions, and research conditions. The result of the course for students will be the capability to display the academic competence into: 1. The main directions of the research of the religion; 2. clear competence concerning the religion situation, it’s theoretical and practical aspects, the diversity of the research.
