Course annotation The aim of the course is to deepen interdisciplinary understanding of the effective didactic approaches and improve skills of implementing them into educational practice to raise and solve problems connected with well-being and harmonised development.
The objectives of the course:
1.to improve interdisciplinary knowledge and critical understanding of effective didactic approaches in formal, non-formal and informal education;
2.to conduct research on effective didactic approaches to the potential of creativity and educational innovations and features of their implementation to raise and solve problems connected with well-being and harmonised development in educational practice;
3.to be able to improve and evaluate one’s own didactic competence and its contribution to ensuring well-being and harmonised development of the society;
4.to be able to clearly and convincingly communicate the gained information to others basing on cognitive and affective processes and taking into account the peculiarities of the target audience.

Results Completing the course, students will be able to:
1.display interdisciplinary knowledge and critical understanding of effective didactic approaches in formal, non-formal and informal education;
2.to demonstrate skills of conducting research on effective didactic approaches to the potential of creativity and educational innovations and features of their implementation to raise and solve problems connected with well-being and harmonised development in educational practice;
3.to display skills of improving and evaluating one’s own didactic competence and its contribution to ensuring well-being and harmonised development of the society;
4.to display skills of clearly and convincingly communicating the gained information to others basing on cognitive and affective processes and taking into account the peculiarities of the target audience.

Requirements for obtaining credit points The course will end up with the exam. It will be continuous assessment and consist of summing up:
1.Attendance of seminars; active participation 20 %
2.Independent work incl. conducting research 40 %
3.Exam - research presentation 40%
