Course annotation | The aim of the course is to develop the competence to participate in building sustainable cultural environment of education for ensuring personal well-being as well as harmonised development of the society. The objectives of the course: 1.to enlarge knowledge and critical understanding of challenges of globalisation and its implications for the society, culture and education; 2. enlarge knowledge and critical understanding of sustaining and improving quality of life; 3.to examine the possible impact of sustainable cultural environment of education on facilitating personal well-being as well as harmonised development of the society; 4.to improve skills of solving problems of the impact of sustainable cultural environment of education for facilitating personal well-being as well as harmonised development of the society, and the skill of taking responsibility for solving problems. |

Results | Completing the course, students will be able to: ●demonstrate a detailed knowledge and critical understanding of the impact of education on ensuring sustainable development; ●display skill of finding and selecting information; and clearly and convincingly communicating it to others taking into consideration peculiarities of the target audience; ●show critical understanding and personal attitude towards national and global topicalities in education and their impact on diversity of opinions and values; ●act responsibly in solving problems of sustainable cultural environment of education impact on facilitating personal well-being and harmonised development of the society; ●show critical understanding, responsible behaviour and positive attitude towards contribution of education to sustaining and improving well-being of the students’ and following generations. |
