Course annotation The aim of the course is the development of students' artistic experience, the study of the basic principles of composition.
The tasks of the course are: the analyses of the basic structural elements of composition in visual art and the types of composition; to study artistic means in creating two dimensional art form; to study the treatment of content and form in two dimensional composition; to broaden individual repertoire if images in two dimensional art; to develop art expression in two dimensional art.
Results A satisfactory completion of the course would grant an understanding artwork’s form ad content; competence in the diversityl art language and means of expression; ability to analyze an evaluate independently the aspects of artwork’s forms as well as to implement them in the process of creative self-expression.

Requirements for obtaining credit points Midterm graded assessment (4 works; assesment after completion of each semester work) - 80%. Exam (Show - exhibition of semester works) - 20%
