E-courses MākZP021: Painting II
Course annotation The aim of the course is to help students acquire theoretical knowledge of various kinds of painting and enhance it by practical exercise. Formation of students ability to perceive the complex character of a work of art, development of the sense of imagery. Further improvement of practical painting. Various aspects of still-life painting: proportions of composition, form, light, volume, illusion of 3D. Realization of design choosing appropriate artistic and technical means, working out creative project.
Results Successful completion of the study course enhances students’ theoretical knowledge of different kinds of painting by application of theory in practice. Through practical painting students have improved their knowledge and skills of still-life painting: solving problems of composition, proportions, form, light, volume, and spatial illusion. Using theoretical knowledge and skills students will be able to realize project in professional, artistic and innovative way.
