E-courses MākZ2030: Materials and Finishing Techniques II
Course annotation The aim of the course is to introduce the students into the practicalities of interior design, making use of rational applications of various materials and finishing technologies, as well as an insight into the technological processes of both the construction and renovation work. To acquaint them with the possibilities of professionally creating spatial objects and interiors, evaluating the chances of co-operating with contractors and controlling the process of realisation
Results A satisfactory completion of the course would grant an understanding to the students of the assortment of different materials available, their qualities and possibilities and modes of finishing them. Utilisation of these materials in performing professional tasks. Students are able to select materials suited to their task and ways of finishing them independently and receive a thorough understanding of woodworking, metalworking, textile materials and paper plastics.
