Course annotation The aim of the study course is to enable students to inquire into the role of light in creating form and space. Students will gain competence in application diversity of geometric and organic shapes, insight of spaceness and its depicturing in art works during different periods of history of mankind. Methods of creating an illusion of space and volume in a planar picture. Students will develop plastic spatial thinking.

Results Students acquire understanding of the geometric and organic forms and their options, get knowledges about lighting effects on the shape and space, learn practical skills in designing a perspective.
