E-courses MākZ2025: Interior Designing III
Course annotation Man and public space. The aim of the study course is to create and develop students` understanding of the principles of design and arranging of public space interior, detection and analysis of problems ,their possible solutions. The aim of the course is to improve students` competences by practical designing and project presentations.
Results Within the course students are expected to obtain knowledge and competences as follows:
▪to know how to analyze the architectonic and stylistic features of the object design, state the possible problems and offer options for problem solving;
▪to know the methods of forming visual image of functionally aesthetic interior;
▪to be able to use the principles of interior composition when implementing the concept;
▪to have a good knowledge in the construction and decorative features of the traditional and modern building and finishing materials;
▪to be able to carry out the interior project completely;
▪to develop the theoretical background of the project, draw up an estimate of work costs, rates of the interior elements and furnishings;
▪to prepare the project documentation;
▪to present the project.





Course plan 1. Overview of the course Interior Design II L 2 hours
2. Conditions for developing the concept of the interior for public catering/ entertainment businesses L 2 hours
3. Conditions for developing the concept for office space interior design L 2 hours
4. Interior projects for hotels and guest houses L 4 hours
5. Projects of public interior practical w.+ S 22 hours























Requirements for obtaining credit points 2 intersession tests(expositions) - 25% each
Course examination – exposition - 50%
