Course annotation Man and public space. The aim of the study course is to create and develop students` understanding of the principles of design and arranging of public space interior, detection, and analysis of problems, their possible solutions. The aim of the course is to improve students competencies by practical designing and project presentations.



Results The course is provided to obtain the following knowledge, skills, and competencies:

Knowledge
1. Know the typology of public buildings, sources of professional information necessary for designing
2. Analyze architectural and stylistic features of the object, the placement of engineer technical elements
3. Know constructive and decorative features of a traditional and modern building and finishing materials
4. Know the methods of forming a visual image of a functionally aesthetic interior

Skills
5. Use the principles of the interior composition when implementing the concept
6. Develop the theoretical background of the project
7. Prepare the project documentation;
8. Present the project

Competencies
9. By analyzing the available data, develop interior concepts
10. Performing context analysis defines the target audience of the interior to be designed

11. Develop the interior project completely
