|E-courses||MākZ1511: Basics of Digital Construction|
|Course annotation||The aim of this course is to teach basics of constructions of 3D buildings using computer software ArchiCAD, continuing student's knowledge in computer graphics. 3D software is wide used in projecting and arts. It combines elements of raster and vector graphics to give an oportunity to model architectural objects.
|Results||Students will gain knowledge about principles of digital construction - collecting information, gaining 3D information and setting up project. Knowledge about Virtual Building and it's difference between simple 3D geometry will be gained. Students will get skills to use object creating and treatment tools: walls, slabs, beams, columns, roofs, library objects. Students will gain competences to choose most usable and effective tools for quality and fast project creating according to project.
|Course plan||1. Setting up work environment. Drawing using primitives. L2+Ld2
2. Creating of standard 3D objects. L2+Ld2
3. Treatment of standard 3D objects. L2+Ld2
4. Transformations and grouping of objects. L2+Ld2
5. Preforming and export of drawings. L2+Ld2
