Course annotation The object of this course is to enable students:
1. To obtain knowledge in Interior design factors and design methods:
▪the main functional space planning conditions;
▪the most typical finishing materials, furniture, light fixtures, and equipment;
▪the features of designing visual image of interior and methods of its implementation;
▪to develop an understanding of interior as a set of constructive, technological, economic and cultural factors.

2. To improve skills to make use of the obtained knowledge in the work-out of the project description;

3. To form competences during practical designing and project presentation.

Results Satisfactory completion of the course would grant to the students:
1. Ability to obtain the idea of interior design components, to comprehend the sequence of actions in working out the interior design and interior layout
2. Know the key factors and principles of the interior designing and layout
3. Know conventional signs

4. Use the principles of interior composition in organizing space
5. Use of branch terminology, the available professional sources of information
6. Prepare presentation materials and present the project
