Course annotation The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic principles of ergonomics. The students will gain insight into the research and recommendations of several specialists which characterize the proportions of the room, equipment, furniture with the man’s physiological and antropometric parameters both in motion and in while being at rest. The course will help to choose the necessary proportions and their form of rooms and objects for man’s rest, work and everyday life
Results Having successfully mastered the course students gain understanding on the factors necessary for the man for creating the optimal spatial environment. Students will be able to analyze independently the ergonomic quality of tools and furniture, to find out the customer’s needs in order to create adequate environment.
