|E-courses||LitZ1082: Project Management in the Field of Literature|
The aim of the course is to offer knowledge about literature as a part of the creative industry. The course develops the initial skills and competences in the management process of a literary business project, including various aspects of the possibilities offered by the literary business industry – from the editorial work and organization of literary events till consultations and provision of educational and individual (translation and interpreting, proofreading, editing) services. The course acquaints students with the principles of functioning of the creative industry, as well as with the legal basis. Moreover, the course offers an overview of the variety of advertising, marketing and financial instruments that can be used in the management of literature-related processes and projects, thus developing the skills and competences of the students, as well as their professional suitability for the real-life job market and entrepreneurship.
•Systematic understanding of the literature as a part of the creative industry;
•Initial knowledge about the history, traditions (the overview of the publishing history) and operation principles of entrepreneurship in the field of literature;
•Basic knowledge about the entrepreneurship possibilities in the field of literature;
•Basic knowledge about the creation of the business project in the field of literature;
•Basic knowledge about the laws and normative acts that regulate the creative industry;
•Basic knowledge about the financial, advertising and marketing instruments that can be used in the creation and realization of the literature-related projects.
