Course annotation The course aims to familiarize students with the most recent office level applied software and information system technologies.
The course objective is to teach students to work with office software, acquire professional knowledge in the work with the text editor, table processor, presentation software and web applications.
Course tasks:
1) to acquire professional skills for working with office applications;
2) to enhance computer user level knowledge;
3) to acquire applied information search, processing and saving methods in the Internet;

4) to get acquainted with the designing of electronic documents and using of electronic signature.

Results After successful acquisition of the course the students will be able to demonstrate the following:
1.Students will have the understanding about the latest office level business software;
2.Student will understand communication principles in Internet, data searching, analysis process;
3.Understanding of the principles for electronic documents protection

2.Being able to make decisions and find creative solutions in changing conditions.

Requirements for obtaining credit points Attendance of lectures and laboratory work is compulsory. During the semester there will be 16 lectures and 16 laboratory work assignments. To acquire the credit points all laboratory work assignments must be completed.
The final mark of the course will consist of:
Completed laboratory assignments (60%), 2 tests (20%), examination (20%).

The examination (to be completed on the computer) will contain a test and a task.
