|Course annotation||The course is intended for students who have acquired the Russian language at the elementary level A1.
The aim of the course is the development of the communicative competence of students.
The goals of the course are as follows: improvement of the reading, listening and writing skills (Level A2); correction and improvement of pronunciation; development of vocabulary; acquisition of grammatical patterns of the Russian language; introduction to peculiarities of the Russian cultural communicative behavior.
The course is based on the communicative approach which is intended to activate the language skills using the communication-oriented tasks.
The content of the course is worked out in accordance with the demands of the EU language politics.
|Results||Successfully mastering the course, students will improve the understanding of the grammatical system of the Russian language. Students know the lexical material in the frames of the programme.
Students acquire reading, writing, speaking and listening skills of the Russian language at the level A2 1; students know how to create written texts (advertisements, letters, CVs, essays on familiar topics), how to read authentic texts in Russian press and in the Internet, how to talk about various topics such as sports, studies, work and career, as well as how to express their feelings and their views, and discuss familiar topics.
|Requirements for obtaining credit points||Individual work (six topics)-30%.
Grammar tests - 20%.
Final test (reading, listening)-20% .
Examination (speaking) -30%
