Target Group
We are pleased to invite administrative personnel working with international students from partner and potential new partner universities to the 3rd International Blended Staff Training Week "Skills and Competencies for Future" at the University of Latvia!
Event
Blended Staff Training is an innovative new approach, combining e-learning with a traditional staff training. The aim of the Staff Training Week is to introduce participants with essential competences university’s administrative worker shall obtain and improve for successful completion of daily work.
The “Skills and Competencies for Future" Training is composed of one online meeting on April 28, 2022 and a 5-day on-site event that will take place in the beautiful city of Riga, the largest of the three Baltic capitals, from the May 8 till May 12, 2023 .
During the Staff Training Week, a representative from the University of Latvia will lead an online webinar and experts from the University of Latvia will give the participants an opportunity to learn more about time management, team building, (in) effective communication and intercultural communication skills - the three most important skills for university administrative staff working with international students.
We are looking for active participants willing to improve their professional competences, share their experiences, creative ideas and best practices from their home universities.
We will host up to 20 participants, and no more than 2 participants per university will be accepted.

! You are welcome to bring with you traditional sweets from your country for coffee breaks.
