      ABOUT PROJECT The project aims to explore the wild and cultivated forest and bog berry (genus Vaccinium) extractives' composition, using environmentally friendly, solvent-free extraction methods for the isolation of biologically active substances, as well as an in-depth pharmacological activity studies in vitro in order to obtain substances for biopharmaceutical and biomedical applications and to develop innovative health products. During the project it is expected to prepare several original scientific papers, submitted for publishing in journals or conference proceeding included in Web of Science or SCOPUS databases, to develop a product protected by patent and the method of its extraction, as well as elaborate a the prototype of innovative health product and recommendations for its use.
