Guidelines for Submission of Abstracts

Abstracts (for both oral and poster presentations), written in English, should be no longer than three A4 pages of text plus black and white drawing illustrations and references. The text should be prepared as MS Word file (or as RTF file) with the following format:

Font: 12pt Times New Roman
Margins: 2 cm at the top and bottom and 2,5 cm on the left and right side
Other format: 1.5 line, justified.

Illustrations: should be prepared as jpg or tif files, inserted within the text, but should be sent also as separate files.

Abstracts are to be submitted as e-mail attachments to: Laimdota.Kalnina@lu.lv and should reach her by 1st April 2007.

Please remember to send the text and illustrations as separate files.

Please name your files: "6PMP_Familyname".

The abstract volume will be available at the Meeting.

Original papers presented at the Meeting will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Proceedings of University of Latvia ACTA UNIVERSITATIS LATVIENSIS Earth and Environmental Series. The number of articles is limited for journal. The Organizing Committee reserves the rights to select manuscripts on the basis of abstracts and presentations.
