General Information

The Organising Committee is pleased to invite you to participate in the 6th International Meeting of the Pollen Monitoring Programme (PMP), which will take place between 3rd and 9th June 2007 in the resort town of Jūrmala, in the close vicinity of Riga, the capital city of Latvia.

It will be hosted by the Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences, University of Latvia, Latvia.

The meeting calls on palynologists wishing to present and discuss results of investigations related to pollen dispersal and deposition, pollen productivity, aeropalynology, pollen monitoring, pollen vegetation relationships and other related aspects.

Although initial registration has already taken place, late applications are still possible. At present nearly fifty delegates have expressed their intention to attend and about fourty presentations have been offered.
