Riga International airport (http://www.riga-airport.com/) is about 20 minutes drive from the Jurmala city by taxi (price 9-10 Ls). There is a bus connection between the airport and Riga, as well as convenient bus and train connections between Riga and Jurmala. Those who plan to come by private car crossing the Lithuanian/Latvian border should consider the renovation of the road in a section of the Via Baltica from Iecava to Kekava. The entrance by private car into Jurmala as a resort area costs 1 LVL per day.
