Several physical and chemical parameters were analyzed for both rivers and wells during research. Thorough conducted tracer test was made by pouring harmless fluorescent color into the Iecava river.
Beforehand developed conceptual model predicted appearance of color in neighbor wells and in the river Memele. Color was measured in several wells and in the river by using fluorometer and underground connection was confirmed.
Acquired results allowed to calculate the flow speed and amount of water transferring between both rivers. Numerical model was made for research area and it is in accordance with observed results.
