Leibniz-DAAD Research Fellowships - calling for applications by March 2012

The fellowships by the 'Leibniz Association' and DAAD offer highly-qualified recent foreign postdocs the opportunity to conduct special research at institutes of the Leibniz Association in Germany.

Leibniz-DAAD Research Fellows can do their research at one of the Leibniz-Institutes which are covering several sections such as humanities and social sciences, economics, spatial and life sciences as well as in mathematics, the natural and engineering sciences and in environmental research.

Applications are now available for the 2012 UNU-IAS Fellowship Programme!

Every year UNU-IAS offers PhD and Postdoctoral fellowships to provide young scholars and policymakers, especially from the developing world, with a multi-disciplinary context within which to purs ue advanced research and training that is of professional interest to the successful applicant and of direct relevance to the research agenda of their selected UNU-IAS or UNU-ISP programme.
About 8-10 fellowships will be awarded in total in 2012 for three types of fellowships: PhD Fellowships, Postdoctoral Fellowships and JSPS-UNU Postdoctoral Fellowships. 

The closing date for applications is 29 February 2012 for fellowships beginning on 1 September 2012.

"Stadt Kiel" Scholarships 2012 - 2013:

• 3 scholarships for full academic year (October 2012 - July 2013 different subjects, courses are taught in German, good language skills are therefor necessary)
• 1 partial scholarship for two years master programme at our Faculty of Engineering (October 2012 - September 2013 with the possibility of prolongation; courses are taught in English, good language skills in English - TOEFL test - are necessary)
• 1 scholarship for the doctoral programme in "Quantitative Economics".
