The University of Latvia Astronomical Tower is open for visitors on Wednesdays from 19:30 to 21:00 (except on public holidays) from October, 2010, to March, 2011. It offers demonstrations of celestial wonders – the moon, planets and stars with a 20-cm telescope. The entrance is free of charge and without prior notification. The sky watching takes place only if the sky is clear (the stars can be seen).
