The aim of the UL Innovation Centre, which was established in 2006, is to promote the commercialization of the research results of the UL scientists and their application in the national economy.
The Innovation Centre’s aim is to inform the society about the UL innovations and scientific solutions, to coordinate the cooperation between scientists and industry, and to promote the development of high-tech enterprises, as well as to gather the information about the demand of the research services and inform the scientists about the potential cooperation possibilities.
The tasks of the centre are
- transfer of technology and knowledge, commercialization of the intellectual property of the UL
- databases of scientific competency and services of research
- cooperation arrangements between entrepreneurs and scientists
- innovation development projects
