University of Latvia offers two student hotels for International students “Prima hostel” and”Reznas student hotel”.

Note, that the minimum length of stay is two months and a Lessee has to pay the rent for first 2 months in order to reserve the room at least one month before the date of arrival.

Both of them are located in Riga, Reznas street. There is a well-developed public transportation, it takes about 20 minutes to reach city centre, main building of the University of Latvia as well as Old town and Central Railway station. Open the map

One of the options is to stay at the reconstructed (2006) 9 floor student hotel "PRIMA" for 360 tenants.PRIMA offer two types of room -10-12m² or the15-17m² size room, price for them depends from the number of beds in the room and how many tenants live in the room. All over the hostel rooms are combined by 2- with common WC and shower for 2 rooms, it means, that WC and shower is available for 3 persons on 6th-8th floor or for 5 persons on 2nd-5th floor Prima offers four types of rooms: Single room 6th-8th floor/ 10-12m² size room (limited number of rooms): 160 LVL per month; Room shared with other student (double room)/ 15-17m² size room 6th - 8th floor: 90 LVL per month; Room shared with other student (double room)/ 10-12m² size room with bunk bed: 75 LVL per month; Room shared with 2 other students (triple room)/ 15-17m² size room with bunk bed: 60 LVL per month;			Reznas offers one type of rooms: Reznas 18 m² size room shared with other student 60 LVL per month

GENERAL CONDITION

Note, that the minimum length of stay is two months and a Lessee has to pay the rent for first 2 months in order to reserve the room at least one month before the date of arrival. If the Lessee cancels the reservation or decides to terminate the contract, the first payment will not be refunded.

Before making the reservation, you are kindly asked to read carefully the general rules and conditions stipulated in the Lease contract  , which will be signed at the chosen student hotel upon arrival.

It is highly recommended to present a proof of payment for first two months on the arrival at the residence place.

HOW TO APPLY

Step 1
Choose the student hotel and type of the room you wish to apply for and fill out the booking form (see below). You will see a notification confirming the receipt of the filled out form, if the booking has been received successfully.
Step 2
UL representatives will contact you within 10 working days and inform on the availability of the requested type of room. You will also be given payment details and bank account specifications.
Step 3
Make the payment for the room according to the payment instructions given by the UL officer. The room reservation is completed as soon as the payment is transferred to the UL bank account. Please note that the payment must be made no later than one month before the arrival.
Step 4
On the arrival you must check in at the chosen student hotel by presenting your ID and a document confirming the transferred payment
