The Library of the University of Latvia is a structural unit of the University. It is publicly available scientific library that store and maintains the intellectual property of the University.

The structure of the Library of the University of Latvia was approved by decision of the Senate N 54 (27.12.04.). Changes in structure were made by order of Rector of the University of Latvia N 1/192 (08.07.09.).
