Library of the Faculty of Social Sciences is one of the largest specialized information resource centres of political science, sociology and communication science in Latvia. In the library information resources in information and library science and for social work specialists are available. Its collection has more than 25 thousand printed materials. In the library, everyone can access subscribed online e-resources, trial access e-resources and open access e-resources.

However, users can use also databases JSTOR and ProjectMUSE, which are available only in Library of the Faculty of Social.

The Library provides united customer service of the Library of the University of Latvia. Visitors may use mobile phone chargers.
