• ISI Web of Knowledge / Web of Science
  Academic citation indexing and search service ISI Web of Knowledge (provided by Thomson Reuters) encompasses databases Web of Science and Journal Citation Reports. Web of Science provides bibliographic and citation information in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities. Journal Citation Reports provides information about academic journals in the sciences and social sciences, including impact factors.

  The database, portal of Latvian Law provides free access to online version of “Latvijas Vēstnesis”, the official newspaper of the Republic of Latvia and Likumi.lv. The access to the journal "Jurista Vārds" is accessable from the University of Latvia Faculty in Raina blvd. 19.

  Letonika is a Latvian reference and translation system in the Internet which offers a systematized reference information and translation, creating new quality digital resources about Latvia in Latvian, gathering information of the existing resources and aggregating all of them in one site.

  The information system on laws and regulations contains the entirety of Latvia’s laws and regulations as well as the international laws in force in Latvia. The local version of NAIS can be accessed from the Multi-branched Library: Computer Science, Law and Theology (Raiņa blvd. 19) and Central Library of the University of Latvia (Kalpaka blvd 4).

  Many-branched database of doctoral dissertations and master's theses with more that 2,7 million theses with more than 1,2 million full text PDF documents.

  Universal database of full-text reference literature which includes search in over 80 major Russian encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks and links to the Internet resources.
  
  
• SAGE Journals Online
  Full text database with articles from more than 400 journals including information on humanities, life sciences, medicine, exact sciences, social sciences etc.
  
  
• ScienceDirect
  ScienceDirect is a full-text scientific database from Elsevier. But only a part of the database is now accessible. The full text journals are marked with green icon.
  
  
• SpringerLink
  Access to scientific full text journals in English and German including information on various sciences.
  
  
• UpToDate
  Full text, evidence besed database in medicine.
  
  
• Westlaw International
  Database which includes law materials – journals, legislation in EU and foreign countries, laws, regulations and news.
  
  
• Zentralblatt MATH Online access
  The database with bibliographyc information and abstracts in mathematics, can be accessed only from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics and its library (Zeļļu iela 8).
