The course is intended for students who have acquired the Russian language at the elementary level A1.
The goal of the course is the development of the communicative competence of students.
The aims of the course are as follows: improvement of the reading, listening and writing skills (Level A2); correction and improvement of pronunciation; development of vocabulary; acquisition of grammatical patters of the Russian language; introduction to peculiarities of the Russian cultural communicative behaviour.
The course is based on the communicative approach which is intended to activate the language skills using the communication-oriented tasks.
The content of the course is worked out in accordance with demands of the EU language politics.

Results
The course is oriented to the practical acquisition of the speech which allows students to communicate in the frames of the programme’s materials.
