The University of Latvia offers to study Russian language in different levels:

  Russian as a Foreign Language (Level A1 1) – 4 credit points, course code Valo1492

  Russian as a Foreign Language (Level A2 1) – 4 credit points, course code Valo2414
  Russian as a Foreign Language (Level A2 2) - 4 credit points, course code Valo2415
  Russian as Foreign 3rd level (В1) Part 1 – 4 credit points, course code Valo2401
  Russian as Foreign 3rd level (В1) Part 2– 4 credit points, course code Valo2402
  Russian as Foreign 4th level (B2) Part 1– 4 credit points, course code Valo3243
  Russian as Foreign 4th level (B2) Part 2 – 4 credit points, course code Valo3245

These Russian language courses are mainly provided for incoming exchange students of the University of Latvia. Others who are interested to learn Russian language can apply as tuition paying visiting students if there are free places in the group.
Each course lasts one semester. On the first week of the semester students meet the lecturer of the particular course level and arrange the schedule of the language course.

Please note:
The organization of the course depends on the number of participants (at least 5 students in a group).
