Short Program description

Environmental Science PhD study program consists of a number of theoretical and applied study courses, training and preparation for final examinations and independent research work. The study courses includes studies supporting development of generic skills (Statistics, Basic modelling of environmental processes, Scientific writing, Science communication, Lecturing skills).  Theoretical courses are dedicated also to self-studies in basic directions of environmental science: Environmental chemistry, Environmental technologies, Environmental protection and Nature conservation. A part of the doctoral program is allocated to preparation to Final examination (foreign language, Environmental science, Sub branch of environmental science). Still a major emphasis is put on the research work under supervision of scientific supervisor. The study ends with a discussion of PhD thesis.
