Students who during their studies at the University of Latvia would like to live in the university’s dormitory should note it in their application form.
If you do not wish to stay at a dormitory, it is advisable to make the private housing arrangements beforehand.
Dormitory PRIMA is located in Riga, Reznas street. Reznas street is close to the city centre and there is a well developed public transportation flow. It is necessary about 20 minutes to reach 19 Raina Boulevard (University's main building) as well as Old town and Central Railway station.
PRIMA
One of the options is to stay at the recently reconstructed 9 floor student hotel "PRIMA", there are also apartments for tenants with special needs available.
- PRIMA single room 6th-8th floor/ 10-12m² size room, nice view in every room:
- 150 LVL per month
- PRIMA Room shared with other student (double room)/ 15-17m² size room with nice view in every room 6th - 8th floor:
- 90 LVL per month
- PRIMA Room shared with other student (double room)/ 10-12m² size room with bunk bed:
- 75 LVL per month
- PRIMA Room shared with 2 other students (triple room)/ 15-17m² size room with bunk bed:
- 60 LVL per month
- Prices for living only one month will be 15% higher than normal
- Important: a deposit of 100 LVL should be paid in order to reserve a room 2 weeks before date of entry
- Living for couple of days is possible
Provided services included:
„PRIMA" provides the following services for the tenants:
- Internet connection;
- Free phone for internal (within the building) calls;
- Free to use Computer hall on the ground floor;
- Shower/WC for 3-5 person (cold and hot water);
- Bed linen;
- Basic kitchen equipment (stove, microwaves) and dining-room on the each floor’s household area (no pans, pots, dishes included);
- Fridge on the each floor’s household area;
- lounge for reading or studying;
- Conference/seminar hall
For additional payment:
- Laundry service;
- Café;
- Printing, fax, scanner
- Apartment cleaning;
- Rent of a household equipment;
- Recreation complex with sauna;
- Cable television with a TV set( in process);
- Sports hall (ping-pong, novuss).
