The course goal is to develop the conversational German language skills for everyday situations, at the same time mastering the basics of the German grammar. The course foresees the development of four language skills: 1) reading skills – by learning the alphabet and pronounciation rules; 2) writing skills; 3) listening skills (understanding the lecturer and audio records); 4) basics of conversational language skills.

After completing the course, students acquire ability to solve everyday situations in German, to read and understand texts on the studied topics, as well as to write postcards, short messages and to fill in forms.
